MSP Console

The MSP console lets a managed service provider (MSP) manage the email authentication of all its clients from one account. Each client is a separate organization with its own domains, reports, alerts and team. You see all of them together, and you enter any client without an invitation.

Plan: the MSP console is part of the Enterprise plan. Your account manager turns your organization into an MSP account and agrees the pricing with you. See Plans & Billing.

What you find in the console

Open MSP console in the side menu. It has five tabs:

Tab What it shows
Dashboard Totals of all your clients: domains, domains that receive reports, domains by DMARC policy, pass rate weighted by email volume, open alerts and the 10 clients with the lowest pass rate.
Clients Your client organizations, with their domains, pass rate, alerts, last report and status. You can search, filter and sort them.
Domains Every domain of every client, with its DMARC policy, pass rate, emails in the last 30 days and whether its record is hosted. Filter by policy or client, and select domains for a bulk policy change.
Bulk operations The jobs you ran on several clients at once, with the result for each client.
Templates Alert and digest settings that you save once and apply to many clients.

The console reads summary data that we refresh regularly. When a client's data is not up to date, the console shows a warning icon next to it.

Enter a client

Click Open client on a client. You work inside that client as if you were a member of it. A banner at the top shows Viewing client and the client name. Click Back to followed by the name of your MSP to return to the console.

Your role in the MSP decides what you can do inside a client:

Only owners and admins of the MSP can create, delete or link clients and run bulk operations. Only the owner of the MSP can detach a client.

Plan and limits

Clients use the plan of the MSP. They cannot buy a plan of their own while they belong to the MSP. Your domain limit applies to the sum of the domains of the MSP and of all its clients. Clients that are scheduled for deletion do not count. If the total goes over the limit, for example after a plan change, the newest domains are paused and do not process reports until you are back within the limit.

Alerts

The alerts of a client go to its own members and to the owners and admins of the MSP. Each MSP user can mute the alerts of a client, or one alert type: open the client from the MSP console and change Settings → Alerts there.
