Add a Domain

Adding a domain is the first step to start monitoring your email authentication.

Steps

1. Go to the Domains section

From the main panel, click on Domains in the sidebar menu and then on the Add Domain button.

2. Enter your domain

Type the domain name without a prefix (for example: yourcompany.com, not www.yourcompany.com).

3. Configure the DMARC record

To have reports sent to DMARC Examiner, add or modify the DMARC record for your domain in DNS:

TXT _dmarc.yourdomain.com
v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:your-id@rua.dmarc-examiner.com;

The specific email address appears in your domain's panel once it has been created.

4. Verify the DNS configuration

DMARC Examiner automatically checks that the DMARC record correctly points to the platform. The status changes to Active as soon as the correct configuration is detected.

Propagation Times

DNS changes can take anywhere from a few minutes to 48 hours to propagate. If the domain is not verified within that time, check that the DNS entry is correctly configured.
