Informes RUA
RUA (Reporting URI for Aggregate) reports are the aggregate reports that email providers send daily to the domain owner.
What are RUA reports?
When you configure a DMARC record with the rua= field, major email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) send you a daily report with authentication statistics. DMARC Examiner receives, processes, and visualizes these reports automatically.
What information do they contain?
- Total number of messages processed
- SPF and DKIM authentication results per message
- IP address of each sending server
- DMARC policy applied and action taken
Viewing reports
From the sidebar menu, click on Reports to open the reports list. The table displays the following columns:
- Domain — The domain the report is about
- Reporter — The email provider that generated the report (e.g., Google, Microsoft, Yahoo)
- Date Range — The time period covered by the report
- Records — The number of individual records in the report
- Pass Rate — The percentage of messages that passed DMARC authentication
- Received — When DMARC Examiner received and processed the report
Filters
You can narrow down the reports list using these filters:
- Search by reporter — A text field to search by the reporter organization name
- Domain — A dropdown to select a specific domain
- Date range — From and To date pickers to filter by the date the report was received
Uploading reports
You can manually upload DMARC report XML files using the Upload button. This is useful if you have reports from before you started using DMARC Examiner or if you receive reports through another channel.
Pagination
The reports list is paginated. Use the navigation controls at the bottom of the table to move between pages.
Forensic Reports (RUF)
The Forensic tab in the Reports section shows per-message failure reports (RUF). These reports contain detailed information about individual emails that failed DMARC authentication, including the source IP, sender address, and original headers. Forensic reports are available on Basic plan and above.
