- 1In Resend, go to Domains and add your domain (or a subdomain)
- 2Resend shows three records. Two of them go on the "send" subdomain, not on the root of your domain
- 3MX record on send, pointing to feedback-smtp.<region>.amazonses.com with priority 10, for bounces and complaints
- 4TXT record on send with v=spf1 include:amazonses.com ~all
- 5TXT record on resend._domainkey with the DKIM key Resend shows you
- 6In the Host field, enter only send or resend._domainkey, without your domain. Then verify the domain in Resend
Last step: publish a DMARC record. It sends you a daily report of every message sent as your domain, including the ones from Resend.

Do I add include:amazonses.com to the SPF record of my root domain?
No. Resend puts the SPF record and the MX record on the "send" subdomain, which is the return path. The SPF record of your root domain does not change.
Why is my Resend domain not verifying?
The most common cause is a Host field with the full domain, which creates send.yourdomain.com.yourdomain.com. Enter only send or resend._domainkey. Some providers also need a trailing dot on the MX value.
Where is your DNS?
