How to Add DMARC, SPF & DKIM in Dinahosting

Spanish domain registrar and hosting provider.

How to fill in the host field

Dinahosting uses a dropdown instead of @. For the root of your domain, choose "Crear nuevo registro TXT, para todo el dominio". For DMARC, choose the Subdominio option and enter _dmarc as the host. For DKIM, use the Subdominio option with <selector>._domainkey.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC records

SPFType: TXTHost: @ (root of the domain)

When your hosting is active, Dinahosting creates a default SPF record on the domain. Check for it before you add another, because a domain must have only one SPF record.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add DNS records in Dinahosting if my domain uses other nameservers?

You can create them, but they have no effect. Dinahosting warns that the DNS records applied to the domain will not work until the domain uses Dinahosting nameservers. Otherwise, add the records at your DNS provider.

How long do Dinahosting DNS changes take?

Dinahosting updates its DNS records every 5 minutes, and the change usually propagates in about 15 minutes. Its DNS servers set a TTL of 300 seconds on zone records.

My domain and hosting are both at Dinahosting. Why can I not edit the zone from Hosting?

To edit the DNS zone from the hosting, you must first authorize it from the administration of the domain.
