How to Add DMARC, SPF & DKIM in Arsys

How to fill in the host field

Arsys asks for the full name in the Entrada DNS field, including your domain: yourdomain.com for the root, _dmarc.yourdomain.com for DMARC and <selector>._domainkey.yourdomain.com for DKIM.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC records

SPFType: TXTHost: @ (root of the domain)

Domains with Arsys email have a default SPF record: v=spf1 include:_spf.serviciodecorreo.es ~all. If it is missing, add it manually. Keep a single SPF record on your domain.

For Arsys email, turn on DKIM in the Panel de Control under Correo > Configuración. Arsys creates the TXT record. If another provider manages your DNS, copy that record there.

The Arsys DMARC guide uses a TXT record on _dmarc.yourdomain.com with a value such as v=DMARC1; p=quarantine. Start with p=none until you read your DMARC reports.

How to create a TXT record

  1. 1Sign in to the Arsys Área de Cliente and select your product in the left side menu
  2. 2Open the Panel de Control and select Entradas DNS in the Web module
  3. 3In the top actions menu, click Añadir entrada DNS
  4. 4Fill in Entrada DNS with the full name, choose TXT in Tipo and paste the text from your provider in Valor
  5. 5Click Añadir. Arsys says DNS changes can take 24 to 48 hours to propagate

How to create a CNAME record

  1. 1Sign in to the Arsys Área de Cliente and open Entradas DNS in the Web module of the Panel de Control
  2. 2In the top actions menu, click Añadir entrada DNS
  3. 3In Entrada DNS, enter the full name, for example <selector>._domainkey.yourdomain.com
  4. 4Choose CNAME in Tipo and enter the target from your email service in Valor
  5. 5Click Añadir

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I manage my DNS records in Arsys if my domain uses other nameservers?

No. If you change the nameservers to another provider, Arsys stops managing the DNS entries of your domain and you add the records at that provider. The default Arsys nameservers are dns1.servidoresdns.net and dns2.servidoresdns.net.

How long do Arsys DNS changes take?

Arsys says DNS changes can take between 24 and 48 hours to propagate.

How do I change the nameservers of my domain in Arsys?

In the Área de Cliente, go to Dominios > Servidores DNS and click Modificar Servidores DNS. If DNSSEC is active, turn it off first.
