Frequently Asked Questions
Can I add DNS records in GoDaddy if my domain uses other nameservers?
No. Only domains that use GoDaddy nameservers can add, edit or delete DNS records in the GoDaddy account. Otherwise, add the records at your DNS provider.
Does GoDaddy add an SPF record for me?
If your domain, DNS and email are in the same GoDaddy account, GoDaddy adds the SPF record for you. Check for an existing SPF record before you add one, because only one SPF record works at a time.
How long do GoDaddy DNS changes take?
Most DNS updates take effect within an hour, but they can take up to 48 hours to update globally.
