Setup Steps

  1. 1Go to Klaviyo > Settings > Domains
  2. 2Click "Add Sending Domain" and enter the subdomain you will send from
  3. 3Pick Dynamic routing (4 NS records, what Klaviyo recommends) or Static (3 CNAME records) if your DNS provider does not support NS records
  4. 4Add those records plus the TXT record that verifies ownership. SPF and DKIM travel inside them — there is no separate SPF record to copy
  5. 5If you let Klaviyo generate your DMARC record it will be v=DMARC1; p=none, which reports but does not protect. Move to quarantine or reject once your reports are clean
  6. 6Return to Klaviyo and click "Verify DNS records"
