Verify DKIM recordSetup Steps
- 1In Kit, click Settings in the lower-left corner of your account and select Email
- 2Under Verified Sending Domains, click "Set up your Verified Sending Domain", enter your domain and click Next
- 3Choose "Set this up for me" for automatic setup, or copy the records to your DNS provider yourself
- 4Add the three CNAME records with the values Kit shows you: ckespa (return-path and SPF), cka._domainkey and cka2._domainkey (DKIM)
- 5Add the DMARC TXT record at _dmarc. The default record from Kit is v=DMARC1; p=none;
- 6In the Name field, enter only the host (ckespa, not ckespa.yourdomain.com), then click Validate in Kit
Last step: add a rua address to your DMARC record. With it, you get a daily report of every message sent as your domain, including the ones from Kit (ConvertKit).

Do I add a Kit include to my SPF record?
No. Kit authenticates SPF with your domain through the ckespa CNAME record, which also puts your domain in the return-path. Kit does not ask for an include in the SPF record at the root of your domain.
Do I need a subdomain for the Kit verified sending domain?
No. You can use your top-level domain. Kit says the authentication records do not interfere with it.
Can I remove the DMARC record after Kit verifies the domain?
No. Kit asks you not to remove the DMARC record, from Kit or from your domain, because doing so may cause deliverability issues.
